Current, crystal lamplight source is given priority to with incandescent lamp or halogen bulb, its have the advantage that gives off light Angle big, but crystal lamp needs 10-20 illuminant normally, even more, power consumption is large. Crystal light source only to achieve a larger luminous Angle, will be able to shine the surrounding crystal, presenting a crystal clear optical effect, to achieve decorative role. In practical use, the light source with the luminous Angle of 250° can basically meet the requirements.

LED Decorative Light Supplier    : due to the advantages of high light efficiency and low loss, various manufacturers have successively launched LED light source crystal lamps, but the LED light intensity is lambert-distributed, and the light emitting Angle is 110°-130°. To achieve the light emitting Angle of more than 250°, secondary optical design must be carried out. At present, most LED crystal lights only shine at an Angle of 60° to 160°. Through the use of secondary optical lens and common LED, the light emitting Angle of about 250° can be achieved. The design principle is as follows:

The top of the lens is designed as a free-form reflective surface with an inner concave surface, the side of the outer contour is an arc-shaped surface, and the bottom is the incident surface of the cone cavity. Light is emitted from LED light source and incident from the inner cone cavity at the bottom of the lens. Part of the light is incident to the concave free surface at the top of the lens. A few of the light is reflected directly, most of the light is reflected to the side of the outer contour and the other part is reflected directly from the side of the outer contour.

The incident surface at the top of the cavity of the inner cone is a convex cambered surface, which can diverge the light from the incident surface. The incident surface of the side wall is a rotating surface gradually receding from the bottom to the top with a certain slope, which can diverge the incoming light from the incident surface.

The concave free-form surface at the top of the lens is calculated and formed by using snell's law. The total reflection of the incoming light from the bottom of the lens occurs at the free-form surface, reflecting the light from a small Angle to the side of the lens and increasing the light Angle of the lens, which can effectively avoid mirror reflection loss compared with mirror reflection. The lateral profile gradually recedes from the bottom to the top, which can increase the Angle of lateral outgoing rays.

The lens bottom adopts the screw design, can connect with the radiator tightly, the assembly is simple and reasonable. At the same time, after the lens is tightened with the cooling body, the PCB board can be pressed by the plane of the lower end of the lens screw, reducing the gap between the PCB board and the cooling body and the heat-conducting silica gel, thus eliminating the fixed problem of the PCB board and the cooling body. Besides meeting the optical requirements, the connection and cooling of lamps can be reasonably designed.

A crystal light source lens is designed based on free-form surface principle, which can make LED replace incandescent lamp, halogen lamp and other traditional light source used in crystal lamp, LED single lamp performance is stable, system life and reliability is higher.
